Asia International Mathematical Research Association (AIMRA) was established in 2002, is an authoritative non-profit association for mathematical research in Asia. AIMRA follows the principle that science knows no boundaries and aims to unite Asian mathematics researchers, promote mathematics and its applications, and facilitate the popularization of mathematics education. The members of AIMRA include mathematical research institutions, groups and individuals in Asian regions including Japan, South Korea, China, Malaysia, and Singapore etc.

During its more than 20 years of development, Asia International Mathematical Research Association has organized a lot of international mathematics popularization activities and donated a lot of mathematics research funds to help the development of mathematics research in Asia. It has been supported by the Leaders from Propaganda Department of the Chinese Communist Party, the Working Committee for the Care of the Next Generation of China, the Central Office on Building Spiritual Civilization of China, the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Embassy of Malaysia in China, Indonesian Embassy in China and the Embassy of the Republic of Cameroon in China, and has been widely reported by hundreds of mainstream media outlets.
